Financial Support

Financial Support
In addition to being emotionally devastating, cancer can cause financial difficulties to those living with cancer and their families. Through our Family Emergency Fund, Cancer Recovery Foundation has provided financial assistance to families in need, towards things such as past due utility bills, council tax, telephone bills or rent. This can help to reduce the stress caused by financial worries resulting from loss of income following a cancer diagnosis.

We have received messages of thanks from people who received Family Emergency Funding, financed by your generous support. read messages of thanks... We also receive thanks for our Survival Packs.

 Family Emergency Fund - Update

To help us monitor the quality of our work with cancer patients we regularly ask the people who have received Family Fund Emergency Grants and other support, usually materials such as our books or survivor packs to give us their feedback.

Our most recent survey results showed that 92% of recipients felt our services and support helped them feel like they had somewhere to turn where the difficulties they were facing due to their illness were properly understood.

73% of our FEF recipients rated the service they recieved as excellent, whilst a similar number said they were very satisfied with the process and felt they received a decision quickly.

A massive 90% of the recipients also agreed that the grant has helped ease the pressure they were under, made them less worried and enabled them to shift their focus back to getting well. So if you or someone you know is currently struggling with your household finances, don't hesitate, download an application today.
