Watercress - For post workout
It may not look like much but watercress is in fact a great post work out food. First off its high water content will re hydrate you, secondly its nutrients dampen exercise related cell damage. And thirdly, your body takes the chemicals - including the cancer preventing isothiocyanate on board.
Calarmari - for infection protection
In a day men will lose more zinc than women so it's important to get some of it back - and the Mediterranean style calarmari is a great way of doing that. It also boasts high levels of phosphorus, copper and selenium. which provide the right mix of minerals to keep your kidney and bladder protected from infections.

Sweet Potato - For your Gut
Sweet Potato is high in fibre, packed with potassium and contains magnesium to help look after your gut. Its very high in Vitamin B6 too which is great at preventing coronary dificiencies as it helps stabilise blood flow to the heart and decalcifies hearts that may already be suffering from oxygen problems.
Iceberg Lettuce - For your Heart
Although often described as nutritionally useless as it does not contain as many different nutrients as other types of lettuce, the good old Iceberg lettuce has a surprising component.
Iceberg Lettuce contains alpha-carotene, the bulk of which can be found in the head of the vegetable. High levels of alpha-carotene play a big role in preventing cardiovascular diseases and are associated with longer lifespans in general.

You can now enjoy a cup of cocoa and feel healthy - but be sure to use proper cocoa powder and mix with milk rather than an instant mix used with water as they are usually very high in sugar.
